The mount of the Beatitudes

The International Center “Domus Galilaeae”, is located near the summit of the hill known as the mount of the 'Beatitudes' which rises quite rapidly almost 300 meters (900 hundred feet) above sea level, in front of Capernaum and Tabgah, the place of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes.

Domus Galilaeae is situated about 1 Kilometer from the ruins of Korazim, on the so-called plateau of Korazim.

Canonization of the Blessed Charles de Foucauld

On May 15, 2022 Charles de Foucauld, known as Brother Charles of Jesus, already proclaimed blessed by Pope Benedict XVI on November 13, 2005, will conclude his path to the altars and will be proclaimed Saint, having been recognized by the Holy See, and approved by Pope Francesco, a new miracle attributed to his intercession.
